About Me:Hello my name is Anastassia Puttnam and I am one of the writers for kings news.I am always smiling and tremendously determined to do anything that is thrown at me. Furthermore people describe me as a quirky character with whacky ideas...that's why I now write these stories. However when I grow up I have always really wanted to be a doctor/heart surgeon, so thats my aim :)

Unlucky!

It was the day, the day had finally arrived, the day that Ella's best friend (Bella) was allowed to sleep round her house for a whole week! As Ella stretched her arms out wide, rubbed her eyes vigorously and yawned, she realised that it was Sunday...the day Bella was coming round. Suddenly, Ella began to jump on her bed with excitement. Nevertheless, without her suspecting it, something creaked and something cracked and...OUCH! Racing up the stairs rapidly, her Mum and Dad pushed open the wooden door and without hesitation, gravity yanked their jaws down to the floor. The bed was in two. Her parents were staring into space for five minutes when, out of the blue, Ella's Mum took her by the hand and into the garage and told her to blow up the inflatable bed without a pump as punishment. 2 hours later, she had finally finished, but as she stood up, the rack punctured a hole in it. Therefore, all of the hard work she had put in was thrown back in her face. There lay a sapphire blue blob over her body. With her head hung low she went to tell her Dad and he shook his head in disappointment and asked her to go to her room. When Ella opened her door, she saw that two perfect camping beds lay precisely on the floor.

Excitably rushing around, she ran to the fridge to prepare the sweets and chocolate for her sleepover, when she realised that she had eaten them all whilst she was in her room. (That night she had been naughty by not doing her homework therefore, she was not allowed dessert. However, she disobeyed her parents and ate the sleepover treats!) As soon as she told her Dad his facial expression transformed into a disapproving teacher face. Then he walked away and gave a cheeky smile without Ella seeing. 10 minutes later, she decided to go to the fridge for a snack, when she saw a multitude of fancy sweets and chocolate in her sleepover paper boxes. Looking around her in a perplexed manner, she gathered together the sweets and laid them on the floor in her bedroom. One pm and there was just thirty minutes until Bella came.

Knock Knock! It was her...at the door...at Ella's house...FOR REAL! As soon as they saw each other, they gave each other a gargantuan hug. When they got into the bedroom, Bella pulled out her sleepover present and Ella went to pull her one out when, Ella couldn't feel the box in her bag, as a result she peeked in the bag and saw a crumpled paper box ,as flat as a pancake...the dog had squashed it! Ella ran to the bathroom and started to cry...and cry...and cry. Soon her Mum was able to get her out and back into the bedroom with Bella, she said that she really needed to do a wee and brush her teeth. Bella said thank you for the charm bracelet. Ella was tremendously confused by now and then realised. Ella pulled the paper off of the small box and placed the perfect little ring on her finger.

From that second onwards, the week went extremely smoothly and when Bella went home Ella said thank you to her Mum and Dad for sorting everything out, nevertheless they claimed it wasn't them...so who was it? (Her parents winked at each other mischievously!)
