About Me:Hello my name is Anastassia Puttnam and I am one of the writers for kings news.I am always smiling and tremendously determined to do anything that is thrown at me. Furthermore people describe me as a quirky character with whacky ideas...that's why I now write these stories. However when I grow up I have always really wanted to be a doctor/heart surgeon, so thats my aim :)
Jess was a polite young girl who used to get an array presents due to the fact that she was as good as can be. One day, she got a tremendously unique gift; it was a huge door with nothing behind it. When she walked in, she saw a magnificent room which was as enormous as her bedroom. Suddenly, she heard a voice, which made her jump out of her skin; it sounded like a robot and said "Tell me something you have always wanted to know, and somewhere you have always wanted to go!” Jess said, "well I have always wanted to go to the dinosaur period and I don't want to know anything because if I did I would look it up on the internet!" Two seconds later, Jess dropped to the floor...there was a huge shudder. The robot opened the door and there was a dinosaur in the distance.
Her mouth dropped to the floor. Nevertheless, when she stepped outside, a dinosaur spotted them and ran up to the door. The robot started to type in the code. However, the dinosaur bit the robot’s arm off. Within the blink of an eye, they were unexpectedly in the Victorian era and as they stepped out, the robot got scooped up and was taken to the workhouse, but as he was going he said, “Go, go I will fly home”. So with that, she went. She pressed the wrong button; therefore, it took her to the Roman era. Sitting impatiently, she felt the shuddering stop, so took a step outside...she was in the middle of a battlefield. As she sat in the middle of the fight, the robot came and scooped her up like a pelican.
Soon after, they were at home safe and sound. The robot said "I have to go now!” But Jess yelped, "No no no please don't leave me". Unfortunately, before she could say goodbye he was gone in a flash. Later that day, she went to her mum and said “I don't want any more presents and gifts because I will always love you." Eating her dinner, she saw an odd platinum spark in the sky...the robot. She thought to herself, ‘I had to let you go but I will always love you!’ They still write to each other now (and I'm sure for always).
