Walking hesitantly and cautiously, my heart started to pound harder and harder; it felt as if it were going to burst violently out of my frozen chest and shatter into a million pieces.

Hello, my name is Lily, people call me Lil for short...don't know why because I already have a short name! Anyway, I've just woken up (yawn) and it feels like I've just stretched all the way to the moon and back. Breakfast and I have...TOAST...toast...Toast! I always have toast; I personally believe that is the most boring breakfast in the world, although you can have a variety of different toppings. I don't like a lot of food so it doesn't work out great for me! On Saturday, we always go out somewhere and this week we are going to see purple people because it is my younger sister’s turn. Nevertheless, next week I might be going to see the one, the only...ddrrpp concert! Today is MONDAY and I've got SCHOOL! Off I run to get ready and half an hour later I'm raring to go!

Purposely walking slowly, I reach my school and start to get to work. First maths, I love maths, it is so fun and it gets your brain working! 82 x 23341 I hear the teacher say and I shout 1,913,962! The teacher’s mouth dropped as she pulled out he calculator and typed the numbers in as quickly as she could......correct! Then she fainted, therefore I ran to get the school nurse! Next was English and I was good at it, I must confess that I'm at the top of the class, well...I was until Jacob and Millie overtook me. Soon after, I got moved up because I made an outstanding sentence, so I got put up a table with Jacob and Millie! HaHaHa! Last was History and this is the one thing in the national curriculum that I am terrible at, probably because it is pointless and boring (most of them are dead anyway!) So it's safe to say that I don't like it one bit and never will! The bell rings and a grin engulfs my face, this can only mean one thing - it's now home time!

When I got indoors, my parents were out, so I went upstairs to do my homework, but suddenly, I heard a strange creak and a blib blob blib blob! Walking hesitantly and cautiously, my heart started to pound harder and harder; it felt as if it were going to burst violently out of my frozen chest and shatter into a million pieces. As I silently peered around the door of my bedroom, I saw an unimaginable creature with six googly eyes and twelve tiny arms to match his minute body. Without hesitation, the odd creator waved and said “hello, be my friend, look after me. I won't hurt you and we will have lots of fun together.” I heard the front door and grabbed the little thing and took him to my room. His name was, That! Soon after, I got to know him and I showed him to my parents and they started to scream, but then they saw his huge smile and cute puppy eyes (all six of them) so they let me keep him. He confided in me about how he, unfortunately, got left behind when his spaceship was visiting from Mars and left in a hurry, whilst he was too busy exploring my garden swing to notice! We were the best of friends and I took him everywhere with me! All of my friends were extremely jealous, even Jacob and Millie. He is going to stay with me forever!
