Taylor was a 13 year old boy and was a keen inventor. One day, he was doing his homework in his bedroom, when he heard an unusual whispering sound in the hallway. As soon as he opened the door, it was so silent that it sounded like an empty house. In fact, it was the clock that spoke...YES, the clock! After Taylor went back into his room, the clock let out a huge sigh of relief and his eyes started to slowly open.
Later that day, Taylor decided to try and invent a talking clock. When the living clock heard this plan, he protested by waving his 'ARMS' around and exclaiming "I'M A TALKING CLOCK...I'M THE TALKING CLOCK!” Taylor rapidly sprinted up the stairs and made a close inspection of the clock. He was so gobsmacked that he fell to the ground with a bang! Soon he woke up, all drowsy and confused. Nevertheless, he quickly remembered what had happened. "HMMMMMMM..." Taylor thought. "I could become the most wanted inventor in the history of history!” In the end, the talking clock; called Tony, became a world famous clock.
However, this story doesn't end here! As Taylor grew older, he soon became the most wanted inventor in the world, due to the fact that he had created a whole range of talking furniture - not forgetting his inspiration, the talking clock...who stayed with him until his death!
