Tiptoeing with great trepidation, I approached the icy sheet lying effortlessly upon the ground. Too aghast to move an inch, I cautiously became more and more apprehensive. Should I go? Pure white cotton wool balls had been placed precisely in their own spots. Untouched. I wanted to dive into the thick gleaming snow and roll around carelessly; as if no one was there...is anyone here? The extraordinary view seemed like it had been captured in a photo of an imaginary place.

Strolling enthusiastically, I suddenly heard an unusual sound; like an animal I had never heard of. A head, I saw a head, then lots of them... I was surrounded by them, I became tremendously perplexed due to the fact they all disappeared within an instant. Nevertheless, one young animal lay dead still on the floor. I sprinted rapidly to the creature. As I scooped him up in my arms, he looked at me and gave me a smile. When I laid him in a plant pot to recover, he fell asleep straight away. He had majorly hurt his wing. Later, I decided to go to get some berries for lunch, the gargantuan trees stood around the unforgettable lake, like soldiers on duty. With baskets full of them, I made my way back to the bird. Throwing them down my throat, the juicy fruit exploded inside my mouth. Abruptly, the minute bird jumped out of the pot and flew away, but unusually, he flew backwards. I watched in amazement as the animal elegantly flew off to find his family. Outstanding!

So here I am, preparing to fly home to MY family. However, I’m going to face up to my fears and skate across the frozen lake...woosh...swish...slide...crack...bang...crash...wallop...wet! OH well, at least I had lots of fun on my adventure. Furthermore, I have had such an exhilarating time that I’m coming back next month...One month later, the bird came back and it looked like he waved to me.
