About Me:Hello my name is Anastassia Puttnam and I am one of the writers for kings news.I am always smiling and tremendously determined to do anything that is thrown at me. Furthermore people describe me as a quirky character with whacky ideas...that's why I now write these stories. However when I grow up I have always really wanted to be a doctor/heart surgeon, so thats my aim :)
Today we are in a jungle, which is literally ALIVE! One night, the hilarious hippos were chuckling away lazily in the pond. When suddenly, a golden lion came along (this lion always yawned at the wrong time, because these yawns would sound like frightening RRRROOOOOAAAAAAARRRRRRSSSSSS!) He stretched out and let out a humongous yawn! Within seconds, the hippos had disappeared into thin air (well deep under water!) The lion plodded on, with his head hanging low while, outstandingly, the hippos were up an extremely tall tree.
Later that day, he met the monkeys, who were rapidly swinging through the tree tops. When the lion was about to talk to the monkeys, he felt a gargantuan yawn coming on...soooo the monkeys fell to the floor with a bump and then quickly scrambled off to the local pond for a quick dip. Afterwards, he went to his family and they were relieved to see him. When the lion explained what had happened, they understood and decided to summon the other lions in the jungle.
The family clearly explained that all the lion wanted to do was make some friends. Soon, all the scared animals understood what had happened. Therefore, they all became great friends and the lion was tremendously happy.
