About Me:Hello my name is Anastassia Puttnam and I am one of the writers for kings news.I am always smiling and tremendously determined to do anything that is thrown at me. Furthermore people describe me as a quirky character with whacky ideas...that's why I now write these stories. However when I grow up I have always really wanted to be a doctor/heart surgeon, so thats my aim :)
Many silver moons ago, there lived an immature girl named Lilly-May. Skipping enthusiastically, Lilly-may and her best friend Sophie were on their way to Lilly's house. As they were skipping, Lilly-May noticed a small bottle containing an unusual liquid; it had a minute label which read: ‘Please take me home and I will grant you the shiniest mirror EVER! I promise you that your mirror will look as stunning and golden as the SPECTACULAR sun!’ Sophie glanced up and saw the 'spectacular’ sun floating effortlessly in the sky, furthermore it had a smoky ribbon of clouds linked together around the sun; as if they were playing 'ring a ring a roses’. Meanwhile, Lilly placed the bottle in her bag.
5 minutes later, the great friends had finally reached their destination...Lilly's house! They flung their coats on the floor and ran upstairs. Suddenly, they said in unison, "The bottle!" Lilly gave the unique substance to her Dad and he placed his gloves on, goggles/glasses on, apron on and lastly his pointless hat. Inspecting the bottle, he slowly began to unscrew the lid. 1 HOUR later, he smothered the sticky liquid all over the new mirror. He fervently said: "DON’T TOUCH THE MIRROR!"
Later that day, Lilly's Mum and Dad were cooking dinner whilst Lilly-May and Sophie were playing in the front room. They decided to do mini fashion shows while they looked in the mirror. Excitedly, they ran forward and accidently tripped and flew straight through the mirror. Minutes later, they arrived in an unimaginable place. There were purple carrots, blue apples and lots of other strange colours; including black chips (but sometimes that did happen to Lilly's Mums chips!) and best of all, there were flying people. Lilly sprinted rapidly up to one of the flying people and asked a series of questions, such as..."Is it fun flying? Are you a real person? Does your food taste good? Where do you get your clothes from? Do you have money?...CAN I FLY?!" He replied, "yes, no, yeah, the shop, naaa, well..." Sophie tried to persuade her no to fly because, she knew that she would change (she was talking to a different flying man). He said they were tricked, like you were and never saw their families again. As soon as Lilly-May heard that, she came to her senses. Nevertheless, they still had to get home. So they hopped on the flying man’s back and discreetly flew back home, with nobody seeing them. Unfortunately, the mirror had smashed, so they walked up to Lilly's dad and said sorry. Whispering softly, he stated...I didn't really like it anyway - then Lilly gave her parents a big hug!
