About Me:Hello my name is Anastassia Puttnam and I am one of the writers for kings news.I am always smiling and tremendously determined to do anything that is thrown at me. Furthermore people describe me as a quirky character with whacky ideas...that's why I now write these stories. However when I grow up I have always really wanted to be a doctor/heart surgeon, so thats my aim :)

Star!

Star!

For many years, Tilly had been continuously saving her money up for her very own pet dog. Every day, she would add to her money pot, which was in the shape of a pig and every day she would count it. Unfortunately, she only had £100 in her pot because; she always spends money; so the pot never gets a lot. Furthermore, she wanted a dog for £800. Nevertheless, she wanted a new puppy, not a rescue dog; because she thought they were old and ill.

Week by week, she was getting older and week by week, her pile of money was getting smaller. One day, her Mum plonked the laptop on her knees and explained to her that there was nothing wrong with rescue dogs and that they were less fortunate. Tilly's face dropped when she saw all the poor dogs’ pictures on the laptop. At the weekend, her Mum took her to the rescue centre and said that they would be just as good, but you would get one cheaper and quicker. At the end of the trip, she decided to get a small Yorkie called Star.

Later, when she took her home, they realised how cute she was and Tilly still had enough money to buy her treats. When Tilly grew up, she became a famous dog trainer and was great with all pets. In addition, more people decided to buy rescue pets and everyone was happy!
