About Me:Hello my name is Anastassia Puttnam and I am one of the writers for kings news.I am always smiling and tremendously determined to do anything that is thrown at me. Furthermore people describe me as a quirky character with whacky ideas...that's why I now write these stories. However when I grow up I have always really wanted to be a doctor/heart surgeon, so thats my aim :)

Snow Snow Snow!

Snow Snow Snow!

A young girl called Amy had never ever seen snow before. All of her school friends used to tease her, because they had seen snow; well, all of them except Tay. They were always best friends...Well until Tay saw snow. Tay got the urge to tease her, so she did. Every day, Amy was teased by her school friends, so one day, she didn't go into school and just stayed at home all day long. Waiting and wishing. She stood looking out of the window for most of the day, wanting it to snow. After she ate her dinner, she laid down on her bed, wishing it would snow. Soon she pulled her cover over her, snuggled down and drifted off to sleep.

In the morning, her Mum shook her shoulders and quietly whispered

“Wake up sleepy head, no school today” and continued with “it's snowing!”

Amy jumped up and plodded to the window, rubbed her eyes and started to dance. When Amy got her clothes out, her mother shouted, "Breakfast!” Amy sprinted down the stairs, rushed her breakfast and got dressed. Soon she was playing outside in the snow (for the first time ever). Amy made a super cool snowman, it was only small though. It had two stones for eyes, three stones for buttons, a plant pot hat, twigs for arms, a carrot nose and a scarf. The snowman was called Timmy, Amy used to talk to him (as if he were real). Her Mum let her keep him in the freezer so that he didn't melt.

The next day, the snow had melted away; therefore she could go to school. When Amy walked in, she was proud to say to all of her classmates that she had seen snow. Now they don't tease her anymore, they are all her friends. But does she still have the snowman?
