About Me:Hello! My name is Emma, and I'm fifteen. I do tennis as well as horse-riding. Also, I love Art and English, and have chosen to write stories because I love creative writing! x
My muddy fur stood on end as I crouched in the littered corner, trying to keep out of the frosty, biting wind. My eyes grew big and paralysed, feeling terrified and small in this colossal city. My hope grew whenever people bustled by, but no one would probably want a scruffy dog with filthy fur like me. I snuggled back down again, wishing that someone would come back for me. It was getting dark now and the street lights flickered on and now only a few people walked by. Suddenly, out of the corner of my eye, a big carriage pulled up with two hazelnut brown horses, which were snorting out misty steam. A young lady stepped out, wearing an elegant, billowing dress with one child. A girl. But they just trotted into a fancy building opposite me, their heads held high. I barked weakly but they couldn’t hear me. One horse whinnied at me quietly. Suddenly, in a blink of an eye, the reigns split and the horse reared up and neighed and ran towards me. Everybody gasped and turned around to look at this extraordinary sight and before I knew it, I was carried on its back and we were rushing through the cold, night wind. I suppose this is where our adventures together began...
