About Me:Hello my name is Anastassia Puttnam and I am one of the writers for kings news.I am always smiling and tremendously determined to do anything that is thrown at me. Furthermore people describe me as a quirky character with whacky ideas...that's why I now write these stories. However when I grow up I have always really wanted to be a doctor/heart surgeon, so thats my aim :)
Johnathon was a 13 year old boy who loved researching numerous types of different creepy crawlies. One glorious morning, the day he was going to pick up his fish, he decided to go and sit underneath the vibrant, luscious, emerald green tree and investigate the millipede. Firstly, he had to find the page in his 'Gargantuan Book of Insects', then he had to find one in his garden; (this would be an extremely difficult challenge). Within moments, he jumped up rapidly with his books and sprinted into his bedroom to get ready. He had nearly forgotten to go and collect his multi-coloured fish. (This fish was unbelievably rare...the ‘Muncherious’!) Johnathon deliberated whether he should count his money to make sure that he had enough, or whether he should just grab his coat and leave. Within seconds, he decided to grab his piggy bank, tip it upside down and recount it. (He had exactly £54.25).
10 minutes later, he clutched his elephant grey coat and scrambled frantically out of the door. As Johnathon was plodding along the road casually, his insides felt chaotic, because he had a multitude of names for his fish speeding around his head, in all different directions. He was extremely keen on Jelly Belly, because the lady said she didn't know if the fish was a girl or a boy. When he got to the lady's house, he knocked a bizarre rhythm on her iron door...there was no answer. Therefore, he rang the bell. “DING DONG”...there was still no answer. Johnathon sat on the door step, waiting anxiously for the lady to arrive. As he was doing so, he started to sing a soothing tune.... “La - la la la la - la la - la la la la - LAAAAAAAAA!” He sang this repetitively.
Roughly 20 minutes later, the young lady came jogging up the path with a dog. She immediately said sorry and ran to get his fish. Johnathon handed his money over to her and took the rare fish home! After a while, he decided to call the fish 'Strawberry Jelly’. This was due to the fact that the fish was a ruby red colour. From that day forth they were best friends. Two weeks later, Johnathon saved up enough money for another fish; he named it 'Blueberry Jam'. This was because he was a Sapphire blue colour. They were his very first pets!
