We’re back again with the final results of the Fact or Fiction Quiz!
Question Nine: FICTION
Although this story has been circulating the internet for years now, Coco-Cola still denies its original product ever being green. The original formula called for caramel to give Coca-Cola its rich brown colour, and although the recipe has undergone some changes through the years, none of them affected the ultimate colour of the product.
Question Ten: FACT
Our DNA is highly complex however I was amazed to learn that 50% of our DNA is similar to that of a banana!! Animal and plant DNA coding goes way back to when the two diverged around 1.5 billion years ago.
Question Eleven: FICTION
Our tongue is considered to be the strongest muscle in our body taking into consideration its size and the amount of weight it can lift. Although you won’t be lifting any big weights with your tongue it’s a pretty cool fact!
Question Twelve: FICTION
The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil’s Triangle, is not located in the Mediterranean Sea but the North Atlantic Ocean. It is here where numerous aircrafts and ships have simply disappeared, vanished off the face of the Earth and seem to be mysteriously untraceable.
Question Thirteen: FACT
According to myths, before the Greek gods the Titans did rule the Earth. The father of Zeus is Kronus; he was a Titan who reigned during the Golden Age and tried to swallow all of his children as he was scared they would one day strip him of his powers!

Xanthophobia, fear of the colour yellow, and Omphalophobia, fear of bellybuttons, are recognised as existing phobias! You can read more about interesting phobias in many King’s News articles.

And we’ve ended the quiz on yet another fact. The tallest man in history was indeed Robert Pershing Wadlow (USA), who when last measured on 27 June 1940, was found to be 2.72 m (8 ft 11.1 in) tall. The tallest man living is Sultan Kösen from Turkey who measured 251 cm (8 ft 3 in) in Ankara, Turkey, on 08 February 2011.
