Are you looking for somewhere to go? Something to do – to replace sitting at home doing nothing?  Are you looking for somewhere nearby? If so then come over to Diggeralnd.

   In the summer holidays, we are at home for 6 WHOLE weeks and it can get very boring. But last year, I found something that will end your boredom… DIGGERLAND.

    Diggerland is a digger-based theme park.  You may think it sounds childish nut there are rides for all the family.  There are 20 different rides of all kinds. Here are some of my favourites.

The Spindizzy will make you delightfully dizzy.

The Space Shuttle will allow you see views from far up.

The Groundshuttle gives you a drive around the park in a real life TRACTOR!

Have a go at the classic game of Go Carts.

Have you ever tried Hook-A-Duck with a digger?

Do you want to see a digger show with the mascots!

Who wants to drive because that’s available too!

After playing so much, you are sure to want something to eat. If you would like to, there are picnic tables as well as a CAFÉ! Diggerland allows you to bring in your own packed lunch if you prefer or you can buy your lunch at their café which will burn your taste buds in delight. The café has everything you could ask of it: there are even kid meals as well as adult meals along with desserts like ICE-CREAM! The food is warm (or cold if you would like it to be) and delicious; enough energy to send you back to play more rides.

Diggerland is located in five destinations all around England: Kent, Yorkshire, Durham, Devon, Devon campsite. If you are choosing Devon campsite make sure to book between these dates as it is not available any other day this year – the fifth of May 2019 to the 3rd of November 2019 (05/04/19 to 03/11/19)

Diggerland isn’t just for a fun day out because they also do birthday parties and school visits/ trips! How amazing is that!

For birthday parties, there will be two hours of fun in the theme park and then 45 minutes for food, followed by cake. 5 adults get to go free and must supervise the children during the ride as the host/hostess will not always be there.

For school visits/ trips, students will be shown a variety of construction vehicles and will be told fascinating information which falls into national curriculum subjects such as mathematics, science, and design technology. You can also hire a staff lecture: this is a special lecture given by a member of staff - who specialises in construction vehicles.
