About Me:Hello my name is Anastassia Puttnam and I am one of the writers for kings news.I am always smiling and tremendously determined to do anything that is thrown at me. Furthermore people describe me as a quirky character with whacky ideas...that's why I now write these stories. However when I grow up I have always really wanted to be a doctor/heart surgeon, so thats my aim :)
Fred used to sell cookies on his doorstep for 50p each. Every weekend, he would go and sell them; he even had regular customers. His parents used to support him. One weekend, his parents went on holiday and his babysitter had to look after him. Unfortunately, all she did was sleep; therefore, she never helped him do anything.
Every time he tried to make cookies, they always would burn or there would be such a big mess that by the time he had cleared it all up, it would be time to go to bed. All of them were soggy and undercooked - he was useless, but determined not to give up. The babysitter just sat there, laughing her head off. She never even offered to help him. After throwing a load away, finally, he had enough ingredients to make one last batch of cookies and when he tried them, they tasted rather nice, so he went out to sell them. They were so good that within 10 minutes there was only one left. Unbeknown to Fred, the last cookie was sold to a food critic. The food critic even said to Fred that he was allowed to come and cook on a TV show called, 'Yum yum in my tum, do you want some?' It was really popular. While this was happening, the babysitter was sleeping.
When His Mum and Dad came back the next day, all they could see was posters of their son...holding cookies. When they pulled up outside their house, it was packed full of camera men, asking questions. They were gob-smacked! Fred grew up to be a cookie celebrity!
