About Me:Hello my name is Anastassia Puttnam and I am one of the writers for kings news.I am always smiling and tremendously determined to do anything that is thrown at me. Furthermore people describe me as a quirky character with whacky ideas...that's why I now write these stories. However when I grow up I have always really wanted to be a doctor/heart surgeon, so thats my aim :)
Chapter 5
I have finally decided to walk around all of the twisty, turning roads towards the children’s home. I sat on the doorstep with great trepidation, hoping that none of the children were there and that they were all on a trip out or something! Waiting, hoping, waiting, hoping, waiting...then suddenly, out of the window, I saw the social worker looking at me sympathetically and so she slowly walked me indoors. She sat me down and asked me a series of intimidating questions about different things, she was, however, extremely caring and understanding about my story. She took me to a room upstairs and I sat on the bed, wondering and remembering everything that my Mum had said to me:
"BE STRONG, BELIEVE AND EVERYTHING WILL TURN OUT RIGHT...I LOVE YOU!"
Well at least she had a room and a bed and a new life!
It turned out that all of the other children there were really kind and thoughtful and the girl made loads of great new friends! In fact, everyone loved her!
